If you have spent any time on the internet researching marketing tools I am sure you have come accross one of the many programs that offers to build your downline for you.

The basic concept attempts to sell you on the idea of "creating a list" of prospects you can promote your business to at will without having to use your own ISP or spend the money on an autoresponder.

They add a networking component to it that allows you to send emails to those that you refer, your referrals refer etc. through a certain number of levels.

In many cases some of these downline builders also offer you additional tools, training and resources you can use to build any business. This sounds like a great concept at first glance but lets look into the subject a little deeper. First and foremost many of these downline builders already include one or more of their so called "optional income streams" where you can join and simply plug in your id number.

If you choose not to join those opportunities you will be constantly bombarded by pitches and special offers to join and the old "fear of loss" pitch about how you will be losing money if those you refer join before you do.

In a nutshell the only ones who truly benefit from the downline building programs, aside from having access to some marketing tools and resources, are the owners of the program!

While they have you and thousands of others building your own lists you are building theirs! What a great concept, have other people build your list and create multiple passive income streams simultaneously! My suggestion is to focus on building your own list NOT someone elses. If you are truly enticed by the tools offered by a downline building program join the program, use the tools but do not refer anyone.

The new buzz world online seems to be "web 2.0". As a student of internet marketing I did a bit of research on the suject and what I have found is many conficting definitions. What I did discover is that the commonalities in definitions seemed to surround the use of video, seo and you first marketing in relation to mlm marketing.

One of the things it took me a while to wrap my mind around is that posting video's does NOT necessarily mean posting videos of you doing something. One of the easist ways I noticed people using video for traffic generation purposes is simply sharing techniques people can use and then somehow directing them to your website for more information.

If you use the keywords you are attempting to get searchenging ranking for this is a great way to get additional exposure. In future post we will cover this topic in more detail for now I just wanted to share a simple technique you can use to get traffic to your website using one component of web 2.0.

Most MLM Marketers should be familiar with a funded proposal. This is where you market a low cost product that would appeal to the type of people who would be interested in looking at your MLM. Most of the time this is simply and ebook that will teach people how to make money. Since this is a tactic a lot of MLM Marketing entrepreneurs use, what I did was create a short video that teaches people how to use a FREE Classified Site that is in the top 100 websites visited online to promote their ebook free!

It was also my first video so I was really just seeing if I could pull it off. I am not a techie and did not want to initially spend big bucks on video software so I found a free software I could use and after about 30 minutes of playing with it I was able to create my first video.

Once you register your domain go to Google and type in your key word, look at those who have top ranking and create a good title containing your key word, a good description and a good list of related keywords and complete the sign up process with your domain registration service. Once this is done the magic begins. You can register your new domains with search engines through a search engine submission service if you choose but I did NOT do this. For some reason it seems that domain registration services that have a ton of traffic get spidered by the search engines frequently, when your domain, key words and description are picked up you get listed in the search engines fast!

In fact without even having a website of your own just a Frame Forward URL you can get top positioning in Google. I have a domain that I have NEVER had point directly to a server. I have simply forwarded it to different programs website addresses and it is listed in the top 10 of a Google search for my keyword phrase! There you have it! Use the link at the end of this post to register your domain name, follow the steps I outlined and watch your search engine ranking soar! Depending upon the domain extension you choose you could register it for as little as $1.99 or less!

Apr 25, 2006, Top Search Engine Ranking For $1.99 The Article Part 1

This secret technique can save you hundreds of dollars and countless hours of pain staking attempts to optimize your website for high search engine ranking. Due to the limitations of this blog I have to break this article into two parts. Today will give you enough to get started and I will post the second part tomorrow.

I have never seen this revealed by anyone. Remember you heard it first here! The first step is to find a low cost domain registration service that has a good Alexa traffic ranking of 5000 or less. I recommend the following http://tinyurl.com/p3ydh

Next, visit the Alexa Website by going to http://www.alexa.com Click on traffic ranking and type in the name of one of the domain registrars websites you gathered from the your google search, if you use the one I recommend you can skip this step.

This will give you an idea of how much traffic is going to the domain registration site. This is crucial to the effectiveness of this strategy.

Once you have identified a registrar with an Alexa rating of 5000 or less make sure they offer URL redirection and Frame/Forwarding most importantly Frame Forwarding which means when someone types in the domain name you are registering they will only see your domain name in their browser bar instead of the actual pages of the website you are forwarding to.

For example one of the domains I promote is http://www.pmelements.com/?mentor I registered the domain name http://www.everlastingabundance.com which forwards to that site but you will only see http://www.everlastingabundance.com in your browser bar no matter what page you go to on the website! This is Frame Forwarding in action.

In addition to Frame Forwarding make sure the provider allows you to list keywords, a title and a description of your website along with your Frame Forwarding, if so then register a domain name, preferably one that contains your best keyword. If you already have a domain name register a new one and use the Frame Forwarding option as well. Remember you can get one cheap using the link at the bottom of this post. You must register a new domain name for this strategy to work.

Like many others I did just that but then I realized the only sales I made where from people I sent to the site from my personal emails and I had to speak to everyone of them on the telephone before they joined!
